Our Chapel Choir's final concert audience represented a perennial choir favorite - the Salvation Army's men's recovery center. Nearly 75 men applauded every song with an appreciation that buoyed our choir such that one would think it was our first performance on tour rather than our last. In fact, following our traditional finale song, chants of "encore" from the men filled us with heartfelt joy. You'll be interested to learn that Shallowford's ministry did not end with the final song. Several of the chapel choir members conversed with many of the men, sharing smiles and stories. Tonight, we lived a bit deeper into Shallowford's vision -- through both music and making relationships.
A tour performance would not be complete without a tour stalker or two -- tonight we were pleased to have the DeJesus family in the audience. We're so grateful for the special support from family and friends!
Tonight, we also tip our chapeaux to our awesome seniors who always come through with love and leadership!
So we've traveled and sung our way through Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. Are you ready for us to come home?! Ready or not, Georgia here we come!! We can't wait to sing our homecoming performance of Awakening for you this Sunday at 4 pm!!! #tourlyfe
