Morning worship in Houston…evening concert in Austin (nothing weird about that!)
Waffles as big as Texas! Well, the shape of Texas anyway (ok, that’s a bit weird…)

We woke up in Houston to sing in morning worship back at Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church.  The folks at WCPC were awesome!  Pastor Dave and the entire congregation made us feel so very welcome to join their community to sing 3 songs during the worship hour.  How special to help lead in worship in another space on a Sunday morning.  We were treated to a creative and artistic reading of the scripture reading – be sure to see that photo in the slideshow!  On this Trinity Sunday, Pastor Dave reminded us that we are each invited to work with God to strive to make a bit more order out of the chaos at every opportunity we have – from our relationships to our environment.  Hey, that kinda sounds like our tour bus travels…

Following a quick lunch at the Woodlands Mall -- (have you ever wondered why the 2 meat 2 sides for $5.99 almost always tastes like rice, soy sauced green beans, and grilled teriyaki chicken??… and do we really want dipping dots to be the ice cream of the future??) – we hopped on our tour buses and made our way to Austin!

A big shout out to Stacy Curtis, Director of Children’ Music, at Covenant Presbyterian Church who ensured all our needs were met and gratitude to all the folks from CPC who provided us with our evening meal.  How great is it that we get to see how other folks put so much care and effort into hosting a travelling chapel choir of 70 singers!  In truth, we had a very long day on the road.  Still, our chapel choir knocked it out of the park tonight with an Awakening performance that energized our largest concert crowd of this tour so far – and we so grateful to sing for an appreciative audience!  Tonight’s bonus included home stays for a little more almost half of us – home stays are the best!  Thank you Covenant Presbyterian for your hospitality!

Tour stalker alert – how special to have Shallowford’s own Rev. Chris Henry to introduce us to the audience tonight!  Although some of us were clearly at least as excited to see Sam join Pastor Chris on this surprise visit!

Heads up Chip and Joanna – we are Waco bound…#wacostalkers  #tourlyfe

These guys are always giving away the most stunning performance which I am amazed to see every single time. It was going to be awesome if only I was able to see them performing live for mean time.
